"Our recent trip to Palazzo Versace was five days of pure glamour, leaving us feeling elated and refreshed.
After dining at Versace’s Vie restaurant earlier this year, we were incredibly impressed by the fantastic service. Heather at Vie, who guided us through a truly wonderful meal, inspired us to book our stay. We had an amazing holiday to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday.
The reservations staff Marina and Nicole were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and we appreciated their advice and unwavering professionalism.
We were delighted by our Lagoon Room – it was picture perfect with its parquetry floors, crisp linen and pool views. The room personified Versace with bold, eye-catching statement pieces. It was also comfortable and practical. We felt right at home.
The amenities were bountiful – plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries. The room was exceptionally clean. We loved the nightly turn down service. The aromatherapy oil burner and nightly ‘treats’ were a great touch.
We enjoyed meals in each restaurant – Vanitas, Vie, Il Barocco and Le Jardin. Each restaurant was ambient and special while providing choice and variety of food and price.
All staff were exceptionally well-versed with the menus and wine list. Vie will always be our favourite with its modern Australian food (and we loved seeing Heather as well as managers Evren and Pasquale – they are all a delight!). The pastry chef’s 40th birthday cake was phenomenal.
It was also wonderful to indulge with a degustation at Vanitas. Each dish was delicate and delicious.
Le Jardin in the lobby was equally as enjoyable with the best $25 Club Sandwich and fantastic G&T. The breakfast at Il Barocco had every type of food imaginable and the coffee was first-class.
We highly recommend the Audi experience – the picnic hamper included could have fed four people (but was happily devoured by two)!
We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool or having a drink at Vie overlooking the Broadwater. The Oscar Oscar Hair Salon is also well-worth visiting to freshen up after a flight.
We loved meeting the staff - concierge, housekeeping, bar and waiting and management. Everyone was welcoming and quick to ask how they could help.
The trip exceeded our expectations and we hope to return next year. Palazzo Versace is the perfect place to relax, refresh and unwind."

"Just a quick note to let you know what a wonderful time we had at the beautiful Palazzo Versace this weekend. I’ve stayed in many lovely hotels over the years, but this was, by far, the most impressive. What an amazing property… the furnishings, the flowers, the foyer chandelier, the pool, the gardens, and our peaceful room overlooking the pool fountains… incredible. I’ve been telling everyone about the thing that impressed me the most though, the thoughtful service and attention to detail. Thanks again for making us feel so spoiled. We now have a new home on the Goldie . . ."

"You'll never be satisfied with another hotel again. I'm going to say there is nothing quite like this hotel that I have stayed in. Its not the kind of place you'd stay and not remember the name. It’s a benchmark, quite literally its beautiful in every sense of the word, right down from the building itself, to the furnishings and even the personal level of service you receive. I've found myself comparing every other hotel I've ever gone in to this one, I'm pretty sure my girlfriend is fed up of my "in the Versace" line on our arrival to every hotel because it just doesn't come close to the same standards. The personal level of service is fantastic, all staff are friendly and approachable and are always more than happy to help and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was a beautiful selection of fresh hot and cold foods and pastries from around the world and again all of the staff make it that little bit more special. The lagoon pool looks great and its four-poster beds and views across the water make it a great scene and was the setting for a few photos. Rooms were fantastic, all furnished to the highest standard and as comfy as sleeping on a cloud. You even get a pillow menu, something I didn't know existed until my stay here! A well-equipped gym was also available to use and had all the latest machines and was spotlessly clean. Price wise It wasn't as bad as people would think, its still a premium hotel but just like the saying, you get what you pay for. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a few days of sheer bliss."

"We were wanting to write to advise that it was the most enjoyable stay we have ever experienced at a Hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left , we enjoyed absolutely every minute. The decor and feel of Palazzo are amazing. However a huge thank you and credit must go to the staff who were the biggest contributors to the stay being so enjoyable. Never have I experienced such courteous warm service in any form anywhere from every staff member. Not once was anything too big or too small when asking for help from the staff."

"Wow is probably the best way to describe this hotel. From the moment you walk in the foyer you realise this place is special, the level of detail in the finishes is first class. The service was excellent and staff would go the extra mile to assist. Booked a superior suite and it did not disappoint, it was very roomy with a separate lounge dining area and a second toilet, the finishes and level of detail in the room was something I have not seen in any other Australian hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite was amazing. We found no reason to leave this hotel during our stay as we wanted to enjoy the atmosphere. Le Jardin (Lobby Bar) was great they had a jazz band playing and the cocktail list was different and exciting. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Very impressive!"

“In life we tend to look into the mirror but never enter, so it was with some trepidation I decided that 44 years of marriage deserved a look into the life style of Palazzo Versace. We have stayed at many top rated hotels throughout Australia over our married life but I must say the Versace tops them all. The staff were outstanding and showed no discomfort when we arrived in perhaps a lesser vehicle than those parked around the premise. We booked one of their fantastic overnight packages...Seafood buffet dinner, cooked breakfast and late checkout. A welcoming note from management and a small gift for my wife were part of what I would call a grand welcome. Without doubt the quality of bedding and general ambience almost makes you sigh. If you have experienced the Ghan Platinum this is the non-moving version. We will be back.”
